"Dur Écu" is inspired by a medieval legend.

While William the Conqueror was fighting the Bretons, an enemy aimed his axe at his head. One of William's companions saved him by interposing his shield between the axe & William's head. The axe landed into the the shield, which did not yield. William was saved! This shield was then celebrated and the name “Dur-Écu” ('strong shield' in old French) was given to strongholds which mission was to protect Normandy.

So goes the legend that inspired this box.

▵ D E S C R I P T I O N ▵
This magick kit is compact and very easily transportable in its sturdy black box.

- The box measures approximately: 12 x 6.5 x 3 cm / 4.7 x 2.5 x 1.2 inches

- The kit contains:
⚔ PROTECTION CANDLE
A tiny magick candle charged for protection rituals and tinted yellow.
It is handmade and burns for about 30 minutes.

⚔ PROTECTION SMUDGE STICK (organic)
Special smudge bundle of dried herbs, plants & flowers. Entirely handmade and organic.
It contains organic Eucalyptus, Bay Laurel, Thyme, Rosemary, Lemon peel, Lavender and Mimosa scabrella flowers among a few other secret ingredients. All the powers of a Provence garden, tied with organic hemp string.
All of which have been associated with protection spells and rituals since time immemorial.
Burn like incense. The smoke is very potent.

⚔ BLACK TOURMALINE
Black Tourmaline powerfully shields against unwanted & dark energies, negativity & hertzian waves.

⚔ BLACK SALT (organic)
Special salt in a tiny little glass bottle. Entirely handmade & organic.
It contains pink Himalayan salt, ashes of frankincense & copal resin incenses, dried sage, rosemary, sweetgrass & eucalyptus. Charged with a black tourmaline chip and crafted under a waning Moon.
Black Salt is a powerful staple in protective magick and a little goes a long way!

⚔ FLEUR DE POUSSIÈRE POTION (organic)
A vegan perfume crafted with natural and organic oils & essential oils.
"Fleur de Poussière" has infused for 9 months and contains ingredients long associated with love. It comes in a 1ml amber-glass vial.
> Sent: A sepulchral scent of rose, resin incense and dust with a hint of powdery secrets.
> Notes: Rose, Patchouli, Benzoin & Olibanum - also known as Frankincense resin - incenses and Vanilla bean.

⚔ BOOKLET
The booklet contains details about all the elements of the kit and the legend behind its name.
It features an illuminated title hand-drawn by artist GWENDOLINOLEUM.

"Dur Écu" est inspiré d'une légende médiévale.

Lors d'un combat de Guillaume le Conquérant contre les Bretons, un ennemi pointa sa hache sur sa tête. Un des compagnons de William l'a sauvé en interposant son bouclier - "écu" en vieux français - entre la hache et la tête de William. La hache a atterri dans le bouclier, qui n'a pas cédé. William était sauvé ! Ce bouclier est alors célébré et le nom «Dur-Écu» est donné aux places fortes dont la mission est de protéger la Normandie.

Ainsi va la légende qui inspira ce kit.

⚔ BOUGIE DE PROTECTION
Une mini bougie magique teintée de jaune et enchantée pour des rituels de protection.
Elle est faite à la main et brûle durant environ 30 minutes.

⚔ BÂTON DE FUMÉE (bio)
Bâton de fumée constitué d'herbes, plantes et fleurs séchées. Entièrement fait à la main et biologique.
Il contient de l'eucalyptus, du romarin, du thym, du laurier, un zeste de citron, de la lavande et du mimosa ainsi que quelques autres ingrédients secrets.
Tous ont été associés à des sorts et des rituels de protection depuis des temps immémoriaux.
Brûle comme de l'encens. La fumée est très puissante.

⚔ TOURMALINE NOIRE
La Tourmaline noire protège des énergies indésirables et négatives et des ondes hertziennes.

⚔ SEL NOIR (bio)
Sel spécial dans une minuscule petite bouteille en verre.
Fait à la main et biologique, il contient: du sel rose de l'Himalaya, des cendres de sauge, romarin, foin d'odeur, eucalyptus, de résine d'encens de copal et d'oliban.
Il est chargé d'un éclat de tourmaline noire et a été conçu sous une lune décroissante.
Le sel noir est un élément majeur en magie protectrice et une petite quantité dure longtemps !
