Feda is the plural of Fid which means "wood / tree" in old Irish.

The Ogham is an Early Medieval system used to write the early Irish language.

A very abundant literature, especially from the nineteenth century, presents the Ogham as a magical and divinatory system, for the use of druids of antiquity.

This system is originally composed of twenty signs called "feda", forming four groups of 5 signs, composed of 1 to 5 notches of the same type of which the orientation varies. The Ogham is built like a tree.

This listing is for one Talisman.

- Handmade by me.
- Sterling silver (950) sustainable and ethically recycled in France.
- Crafted upon order.
- The pendant size is approximately: 3,2 to 4cm / 1,25 to 1,6 inches (up to 4,5cm / 1,75 inches for Ruise)
- The chain measures: 66cm / 26 inches (over the head, no clasp)

Each jewel is sawn, assembled by soldering, hammered then polished ; entirely handmade. Each one is unique and has its very own shape and character.

Feda est le pluriel de Fid qui signifie "bois / arbre" en irlandais ancien.

L'Ogham est un signaire antique utilisé principalement pour l'écriture de l'irlandais primitif.
Une littérature très abondante, surtout depuis le XIXe siècle, présente l'ogham comme un système magique et divinatoire, à l'usage des druides de l'antiquité.

Ce système se compose originellement de vingt signes appelés "feda", formant quatre groupes de 5 signes, composés de 1 à 5 encoches d'un même type dont l'orientation varie. L'Ogham est construit comme un arbre.

- Le pendentif mesure approximativement : 3,2 à 4cm / 1,25 à 1,6 inches (jusqu'à 4,5cm / 1,75 inches pour Ruise)
- La chaîne mesure : 66cm / 26 inches (sautoir, pas de fermoir)

Chaque talisman est scié, assemblé par soudure, martelé et poli ; le tout entièrement à la main. Chacun est unique et possède une forme et un caractère qui lui sont propres.
