SOUVENIR DU SACRE COEUR - JEANNE D'ARC ※ Montmartre, Paris ※ Domed Frame, Reliquary, Ex Voto

☽ DESCRIPTION ☾
Antique oval domed / convex glass / globe reliquary frame.
These frames were very popular from the XIXth century to the first half of the XXth.
This one appears to date from the 1900s era.

A small frame filled with sublime details:
- a silver cardboard banner reading: "Souvenir du S. C. (Sacré Coeur) Montmartre".
- a "Chromo" of an illustration representing Joan of Arc in armour, with her sword.
- two fabric flowers: a large velvet violet and a pale pink flower.
- a garland in golden trimmings.

The border is made of gold metal and the metal back has been painted black (chipped).
Can be suspended using its ring.

Vintage.

Note: The border and metal back are slightly separated at the bottom (see photo) but still hold well together and the frame can be hung on a wall.

Vase / Bougeoir / Bouteille en verre pressé violet / grenat

☽ DESCRIPTION ☾
Cadre reliquaire ancien en verre à dôme ovale / convexe / cadre globe.
Ces cadres étaient très populaires du XIXème siècle à la première moitié du XXème.
Celui-ci semble dater des années 1900.

Un petit cadre rempli de détails sublimes :
- une banderole en papier cartonné argenté titrant : "Souvenir du S. C. (Sacré Cœur) Montmartre".
- un "Chromo" d'une illustration représentant Jeanne d'Arc en armure, avec son épée.
- deux fleurs en tissus : une grosse violette en velours et une fleur rose pâle.
- une guirlande en passementerie dorée.

Tour en métal doré et dos en métal peint en noir (écaillé).
Peut être suspendu à l'aide de son anneau.

Vintage.

Note : la bordure et le dos en métal sont légèrement désolidarisés en bas (voir photo) mais tiennent toujours bien ensemble et le cadre peut être accroché au mur.
