The name "Zhingwaak" comes from the Algonquin / Ojibwe name for "pine". Thanks to my Québécois mother, I have native american blood running through my veins and this culture is very dear to me.

To many North American Native people, the pine tree is a symbol of wisdom and longevity. For some, its needles and sap protect people from illnesses, witchcraft and more.
​Among the Six Nations of the Haudenosaunee (Iroquois Confederacy), the pine tree is known as the Tree of Peace.

In Korea, the pine tree is viewed as an honorable, strong and wise being. Many traditional Koreans pray to a sacred pine tree for good luck, prosperity and health.
While, in China & Japan, the pine tree represents longevity and virtue.

▵ D E S C R I P T I O N ▵
This listing is for one Talisman.

They are handmade by me from pure sterling silver (950). I craft each piece upon order.
Each talisman is sawn, assembled by soldering, hammered then polished ; entirely handmade. Each one is unique and has its very own shape and character.

The pendant size is approximatively: 3,5cm / 1,4 inches
The chain measures: 26 inches (over the head, no clasp)
The pendant is also available without chain.

Note: on the version without chain the jumpring will be slightly bigger to allow chains or cords to go through.

ZHINGWAAK. Talisman Pin. Pièce unique (argent massif écologique - symbole de bonne chance, prospérité, santé, longévité et sagesse)

▵ H I S T O I R E ▵
Le nom "Zhingwaak" vient du mot Algonquin / Ojibwe pour "pin". Grâce à ma mère Québécoise, du sang amérindien coule à travers mes veines et cette culture est très importante pour moi.

Pour de nombreux Amérindiens, le pin est un symbole de sagesse et de longévité. Pour certains, ses aiguilles et sa résine protègent entre autres de la maladie et de la sorcellerie.
Parmi les Six Nations des Haudenosaunee (Confédération Iroquoise) le pin est connu comme l'Arbre de Paix.

En Corée, le pin est considéré comme un être honorable, fort et sage. Beaucoup de coréens traditionnels prient le pin sacré pour la chance, la prospérité et la santé.
En Chine & au Japon, le pin représente la longévité et la vertu.

Ce listing est pour un Talisman.

Ils sont réalisés de façon artisanale, dans de l'argent massif (950). Je crée chaque pièce sur commande.
Chaque talisman est scié, assemblé par soudure, martelé et poli ; le tout entièrement à la main. Chacun est unique et possède une forme et un caractère qui lui sont propres.

Le pendentif mesure approximativement : 3,5cm / 1,4 inches
La chaîne mesure : 66cm (sautoir, pas de fermoir)
Le pendentif est également disponible sans chaîne.

A noter: dans la version sans chaîne l'anneau sera légèrement plus grand afin de permettre aux chaînes ou cordons de passer.
